The absolute best.

As a parent you only want the absolute best for your child and Next Steps is THE BEST! …I have seen such a huge improvement with my child's speech and independence. When we first started I went in second guessing things as a parent. Have I done enough? Is there something different I could've done or can do? Now after so much progress with their help I am confident and know my child is getting exactly what he needs. If your child needs any type of therapy please please please give them the best head start and bring them to Next Steps.

  • Whether it's learning to tie shoelaces, improving handwriting, or expanding their nutritional repertoire, OTs work with children to enhance their physical, cognitive, and social abilities. They also work closely with children to enhance their sensory processing skills, such as touch, movement, sight, sound, and taste. By creating sensory-rich environments and engaging in purposeful activities, they help children regulate their responses to sensory input, improve attention and focus, and develop adaptive behaviors.

  • Whether it's learning to walk, improving balance, or recovering from an injury, PTs work closely with children and their families to develop personalized treatment plans. Through a combination of exercises, stretches, and activities, they aim to improve motor skills, coordination, overall physical function, and safe community mobility.

  • Whether it's speaking clearly, understanding language, or using alternative communication methods, SLPs work closely with children and their families to address a wide range of speech and language challenges. Through individualized assessments and therapy sessions, they target specific areas of need to enhance verbal expression, comprehension, and social communication. Our SLPs specialize in AAC ranging from high to low tech and honor a total communication approach.

  • Whether it’s lactation challenges, picky feeding, oral motor deficits, or enteral nutrition, feeding therapists help infants/children and their caregivers have a positive relationship with the feeding and eating process. Highly trained clinicians work closely with families and their care team to help meet the nutritional goals of their children.

“An Incredible Experience”

My son has been going to Next Steps for almost 2 years now. We have had an incredible experience. The service providers have poured their heart and soul into helping my son and it has meant the world. …He had an extreme oral aversion due to his prematurity and we have seen so much progress! There is no better feeling then having therapists that are very knowledgeable AND truly care about your child and their development. I highly recommend this clinic!
