“It takes a village to raise a child. It takes an autistic child to raise the consciousness of the village.”

Our Team

Our therapy team is composed of speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists as well as certified lactation counselors. Each of our therapists holds a minimum of a master’s degree in their respective field. They have undergone extensive training, accumulating hundreds of clinical hours, and have successfully passed a national board exam to attain credentialing as clinicians. Moreover, our therapists actively pursue ongoing education, specializing in areas such as the SOS Approach to Feeding, gestalt language learning, and reflex integration. While each therapist brings their unique style and approach to therapy, they collaborate closely to ensure your child receives top-quality care.

Our Executive Director and owner, Ariana, oversees our therapy team. She is a Stanford graduate and a certified occupational therapist specializing in infant and complex feeding cases.

Ariana has a Specialty Certification in Feeding, Eating, and Swallowing from the American Occupational Therapy Association, a distinction accomplished by less than 1% of all occupational therapists nationally. She also has her Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, or Intervention through the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Ariana is an SOS Approach to Feeding Mentored Professional and a Certified Lactation Counselor. She is also a Certified Educator of Infant Massage. Ariana collaborates with all Next Steps therapists to ensure our patients receive the highest level of therapy services.
